2020 Re-Release of Amethyst's 1989 Demo
Amethyst's latest Re-Release CD will be their original 1989 recording from Spokane Washington. There will be a few extra songs included on the Re-Release to makeup for missing tracks that no longer exist.
New CD scheduled for Winter 2020 release
Nothing But The Blood will be a collection of classic worship songs and new songs by Amethyst. The CD will be focused on purely praise and worship in a hard rock/metal style. There will be some guest musicians and several neat surprises. Be on the lookout!!!
Amethyst Drummer Dies in Tragic Accident.
Charles K. Heinzerling of Port Orchard was riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on Sedgwick at about 5:07 p.m. He was behind a motor home, which he attempted to pass, the WSP reported.
In front of the motor home, the driver of a 2013 Honda CRV was turning left onto Anderbar Road. The motorcycle collided with the CRV in the eastbound lane of Sedgwick. Heinzerling was wearing a helmet.
The CRV driver and her 12-year-old passenger, both of whom were wearing seat belts, were treated at the scene for injuries.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved. The cause of the collision was unsafe passing, the WSP reported. (Taken from Kitsap Sun Sept 6, 2014)
