At the beginning of 2014, 4 different doctors told me that I'd be lucky to live another four months. I weighed 525 lbs. I was an insulin dependent diabetic, living in a nursing home. I could barely walk. It took the assist of nurse aids to transfer me from my bed to chair, and to assist me in the bathroom and shower. My eating habits were those of an individual who had absolutely no self respect, and zero interest in life!

On July 7th of 2014, I received gastric bypass surgery at Deaconess Hospital, in Spokane Washington. The goals set by myself, my surgeon, and my dietitian was 250 lbs. Today I bounce between 269 and 285 lbs...

This is my story...

I was born on July 18th of the year 1965 at Cook County Hospital in Chicago Illinoise. I was the son of a police officer (Jozeph Fekete), and a beauty salon owner (Sharon Lee Bethel). They were both very young, and not ready to raise a child. Though my Mother already had a son (Mike), she was wanting to live life without any burdens or speedbumps in the road. Both of my parents agreed to have my Grandmother (Maria Fekete) and Grandfather (John Fekete) take care of me, while they continued living their wild, funfilled and adventurous life.

At some point, during the first few years of my life, my parents were divorced.
